There are some spectacularly good modellers out there and I suspect that I’m not one of them but I enjoy it and I like to think that occasionally I get something really spot on. I rarely try for absolute accuracy, I’m quite happy if things just look right and photograph well. Occasionally model making has applications in the wider range of my work, but mostly I do it for a bit of relaxation, although a lot of the time it has the reverse effect. I always have a few projects on the go and really don’t get to spend enough time on them – some things take an extraordinarily long time for me to do, although in reality I could probably finish them quite quickly if life didn’t keep interrupting. The models here are newest first, some of them date back to around 1972.
